In a historic moment for the video game industry in Colombia, Havoc Hotel 2, developed by the Colombian studio Teravision Games, has become the first Colombian-made game to be nominated for the prestigious The Game Awards in the Fortnite Islands category. Known as the “Oscars of video games,” the previous edition of this event reached an audience of over 100 million viewers, solidifying its status as the most important awards show in interactive entertainment globally.
Teravision Games, a studio with over 15 years of experience and recognized as one of the leaders in Latin America, has been creating video games since 2006, collaborating with entertainment giants such as Namco, Atari, Disney, and Nickelodeon. This nomination not only marks a milestone for the studio but also highlights Latin American talent in a highly competitive industry.
Havoc Hotel 2, built with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), takes the essence of the roguelike genre to a new level. In the game, players explore a chaotic hotel, face enemies, and rescue trapped guests in an ever-evolving gameplay experience. Since its launch, the game has captivated millions of players, becoming one of the standout islands in the Fortnite ecosystem.
